Scavenger Hunt Fun!

We've two nieces here for the weekend and all six girls have been having a boatload of fun riding horses, swimming, and giggling themselves to sleep.  This morning I split them into two teams and sent them on a scavenger hunt.  Here's the list and pics of the girls running hither, thither, and yon!

- 3 Prickley burrs in a Ziploc
- 2 Milkweeds in a Ziploc
- Baler twine
- Small frog in a jar
- Tadpole in a Ziploc with water
- 5 rocks bigger than an egg
- 10 rocks brought by the gravel truck
- 2 Sumac leaves in a Ziploc
- 2 Maple leaves in a Ziploc
- 2 Oak leaves in a Ziploc
- 1 Spirea plant cutting (cut with scissors, include some branch)
- Handful of hay in a Ziploc
- Handful of straw in a Ziploc
- 1 Ant in a Ziploc
- 1 Fly in a Ziploc
- 1 Earwig in a Ziploc
- Tuft of hair from Hank (taken fresh and put in a Ziploc)
- 2 Bobby pins

- 1 Fully completed 100 or more piece puzzle (each teammate must help complete it)

- 3 Braided “crowns” or laurels out of weeds (each team member must make one)

- Each teammate must have some kind of “up-do” when you bring me your treasures.
- Each teammate must be wearing rouge and lipstick when you bring me your treasures.
- Each teammate must be wearing their braided weed crown/laurel.

Oh that we might search out God's Word for His wisdom with such enthusiasm!
Proverbs 2:1-5

"My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God."
