I haven't been blogging much, but have recently been considering doing so more often. We'll see if time and inclination win out, but in the meantime, if anyone still reads here (or hopes to), may I encourage you to consider something I've been sounding a warning about for some time, costing me beloved friends in the process?

It's too bad OolaLife wasn't available to the Apostles who were put to death for boldly preaching the Word, to every person mentioned in Foxe's Book of Martyrs, to each Christian murdered last week in Nigeria, to every believer around the world who will be imprisoned, tortured, and put to death this week for refusing to renounce that Name above all names, Jesus. Think of how much better things would've turned out for them if it had been.
This new age, "your best life now" nonsense, flies in the face of scripture, history, and the day-to-day reality of the vast majority of people who have ever and will ever inhabit this world. Yet many who claim Christ are heavily involved in the promotion of this unbiblical philosophy through the Young Living Essential Oils mentioned below.
If you're endeavouring to find peace or soothe your emotions through "OolaLife" and are a believer, you're placing your hope in the wrong place and are in error.
If you're instilling this kind of thinking, these beliefs, in your children and grandchildren, may God have mercy on you and open your eyes to the spiritual deception you're dragging them into.
If you're leading others down this path of deception for financial gain, repent.

They are not proclaiming that victory over sin is possible for those who are in Christ Jesus; they are indeed offering other Christian women (and others who are without Christ) a big lie. They are offering victory in their lives and over their sinful attitudes and feelings based on the use of these oils. Yes, Jesus, maybe, but also these oils.
